Claude Puel demanded the Riyad Mahrez adventure is in the past after the Manchester City target helped Leicester City advance in the FA Cup.

Mahrez was missing from Leicester for 10 days after his proposed move to runaway Premier League pioneers City neglected to emerge on exchange due date day.

Mahrez made his first begin since January 20 and got a warm welcome by the supporters at King Power Stadium Friday as Leicester edged Sheffield United 1-0.

Mahrez gave the help to Jamie Vardy in the 66th moment, which was sufficient for Leicester to achieve the quarter-last.

"It's behind us," said director Puel. "Riyad returned with high caliber and it is a nice sentiment for us obviously.

"It was great help from the fans to Riyad and imperative to remain a nice sentiment for what's to come.

"I said before it was critical to stay joined after this circumstance yet it was great at last to see the nice sentiment.

"The most essential thing was to win and to see again Jamie and Riyad play together is a nice sentiment. Riyad was somewhat disappointed toward the finish of the amusement since he needed to score, however that is great."
