Mourinho declines to fault 'huge damage' for Pogba's loss of shape

Jose Mourinho says a "major damage" prior in the season isn't the purpose behind an emotional loss of frame endured by Manchester United's star midfielder Paul Pogba.

The France global, United's record marking, was substituted in the second 50% of a 1-0 Premier League misfortune at Newcastle United on Sunday.

"He was playing remarkable when that, he had a red card against Arsenal in his best match [for United], in his best minute and the group's best minute.

"He was out for a long, long time however at this time isn't playing admirably, period. Period."

Joined have lost their last two Premier League away recreations without scoring an objective, which Mourinho demonstrated is halfway because of Pogba's worse than average presentations.

"The group needs him at that level and when he isn't, the group isn't in the same class as when he plays extraordinary," Mourinho included.

"I know their profile and their surname is liar - individuals in your [the media] world, their surname is liar - and that is not pleasant.

Mourinho's men go to Huddersfield for a fifth-round FA Cup tie on Saturday, having lost at the John Smith's Stadium on their Premier League visit in October, and the Portuguese is expecting a test against David Wagner's side.

"In the FA Cup last match [against Yeovil Town] we went to an extremely genuine troublesome stadium, rival living a fantasy to play Manchester United and be a mammoth executioner, and we did it genuine," Mourinho said.

"Clearly Huddersfield are superior to anything Yeovil with various desire. I think Yeovil needed to be a goliath executioner, Huddersfield truly need to advance and attempt to make something excellent in the Cup, so we must be prepared.

"We played Huddersfield as of late, half a month prior, we know their identity and how they play, we lost in their stadium so we can't be gotten unsuspecting."
